The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 Ep 9 Specal Guests having fun celebrating India Independence Day 2025

The episode began with Kapil Sharma wishing all Indians a happy 79th Independence Day. He then introduced the evening’s four special guests: first, the popular musical duo Vishal-Shekhar (Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani) took the stage, followed by Shaan (Shantanu Mukherjee) and Neeti Mohan.

Soon after their arrival, Vishal-Shekhar performed the iconic patriotic song “Vande Mataram.” Their rendition earned a standing ovation from both Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu. In a lighthearted conversation, Kapil poked fun at Vishal Dadlani’s appearance, jokingly comparing him to Sanjay Dutt’s Kancha Cheena from the film Agneepath (2012). When Vishal quipped, “Are you calling me Kancha or Cheena?” the audience couldn’t stop laughing.

Shaan shared how his career began with Vishal Dadlani, before Vishal teamed up with Shekhar Ravjiani to become Vishal-Shekhar. Vishal and Shaan also revealed that both of their debut songs had released around the same time.

Kiku Sharda appeared on stage dressed as “Jhappi Da” (a spoof of Bappi Lahiri), with Krushna Abhishek joining as “fake Mithun Chakraborty”—their comedic banter had the guests and audience in splits. Following their performance, Sunil Grover took the stage and delivered a hilarious skit of his own.

Kapil Sharma drew a humorous comparison between Shaan and Udit Narayan, saying both legendary singers charm their fans at concerts and even invite them on stage. However, where Shaan gives a warm hug to fans, Udit is known for his “magic”—a playful reference to Udit Narayan’s recent controversy involving him kissing a fan on stage.

Navjot Singh Sidhu recited a heartfelt shayari for Neeti Mohan:

“Ishq jinko hai watan se, khudi ko mitate rahenge, Shama mehfil mein jalti rahegi, parwane aur bhi aate rahenge.”

Kapil responded in his trademark funny style by adding:

“Shama bale hi jalti rahe, parwane aur bhi aate rahenge. Jaise hi camera hata, hum Archana ka haath dabaate rahenge.”

Kapil’s witty reply left everyone laughing.

The episode concluded with Kapil bidding farewell to the four guests and wishing all 145 crore Indians a very happy 79th Independence Day.
