WWE NXT 24 February 2021 Winners and Losers
1. Johnny Gargano with The Way vs. Dexter Lumis Singles Match
Winner – Dexter Lumis
Loser – Johnny Gargano
Gargano distracts referee and Austin Theory brings a chair but he gets stunned looking into Lumis eyes. Gargano accidently hits Austin Theory and Lumis sees an opening after which he puts Gargano to sleep picking up the win.
2. Tyler Rust with Malcolm Bivens vs. Leon Ruff – Singles Match
Winner – No Contest
Loser – No Contest
Before Match – Bivens grabs the mic and he says that Tyler Rust will show Leon Ruff tonight why he is known as the diamond in the rough
As Leon Ruff was making his entrance Isaiah Swerve Scott appears out of nowhere and kicks Ruff in the face. Ruff falls off the ropes. Scotts sends Ruff into the ring apron. In the ring, Bivens declares Rust the winner.
3. Zoey Stark vs. Io Shirai – Singles Match
Winner – Io Shirai
Loser – Zoey Stark
Shirai defeated Zoey in a highly competitive match and after the match Io shook her hand out of respect. Toni Storm cuts Shirai off and says that Io is scared of her. Shirai says that she is ready to fight Toni anywhere and anytime. Toni says then tells Regal to make the match. Shirai says you are on.
4. Kacy Catanzaro vs. Xia Li – Singles Match
Winner – Xia Li via Stoppage
Loser – Kacy Catanzaro
Xia Li causes a vicious injury to Kacy’s leg after which the match was stopped as a result of which Xia was declared winner. Kayden Carter shouts at Xia and Xia says to Carter that you’re next.
5. Killian Dain and Drake Maverick vs. Grizzled Young Veterans – Tag Team Match
Winners – Grizzled Young Veterans
Losers – Killian Dain and Drake Maverick
As Gibson and Drake make their way to the ring, Gibson announces that MSK’s Wes Lee has broken his hand. Regal fined them both for the attack.Drake says he’s happy they don’t have to see MSK bouncing around for the next few weeks. The better team lost during the Dusty Cup Finals. Drake and Gibson win the match after hitting A Ticket To Mayhem for the win.
6. Santos Escobar with Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza vs. Karrion Kross – Singles Match
Winner – Karrion Kross
Loser – Santos Escobar
Karrion Kross’ music hits but he doesn’t come to the ring. Kross attacks Mendoza and Wilde in the parking lot. Santos Escobar attacks Kross from behind. Kross picks up Escobar and slams him into the side of a truck. Kross puts Escobar in the back of the truck. Escobar slams the truck shutter on Kross’ shoulder. Escobar gets in the truck’s cab and closes the door. Kross hits the door with a pickaxe. Wilde charges in and is launched onto the hood of the truck. All of Legado del Fantasma attacks Kross. Wilde and Mendoza hold Kross as Escobar pushes him into the truck. Wilde and Mendoza drag Kross into the arena.
Santos Escobar walks away as Wilde and Mendoza work over Kross. Kross sends Wilde and Mendoza through the barricade. Kross works over Escobar. Wilde manages to get up and attack Kross from behind. Escobar sends Kross into the barricade as we head into the break.
Back from the break, Escobar was working over Kross. Scarlett was at ringside yelling for Kross to get up. Escobar wraps a chair around Kross’ injured arm and slams it into the ring post. Escobar DDTs Kross on a chair. Escobar sends Kross back into the ring and gets a two count. Kross fights off Mendoza and Wilde. Escobar surprises Kross with a suicide dive.
Escobar continues his assault. Kross counters Escobar’s suplex with a t-bone. Kross lands another one-armed suplex. Escobar rolls out of the ring. Escobar tries to slams Kross’ arm into the ring post but Kross reverses it. Escobar’s was laying on the ringsteps. Wilde narrowly pulls Escobar’s head out of the way of a chair shot by Kross. Kross suplexes Wilde. Mendoza leaps off the steps and ends up getting power bombed into the barricade. Kross hits a filthy Doomsday Saito through the announce table. Kross drags Escobar back into the ring. Kross hits another Doomsday Saito. As Escobar stumbles to his feet, Kross obliterates him with an elbow strike to the back of the head. Kross pins Escobar.
WWE NXT 24 February 2021 All Segments Updates
1. In the parking lot, Commissioner Regal was waiting for Santos Escobar to arrive. Regal tells someone off-screen to send Escobar to him once he arrives.
2. Backstage, Grizzled Young Veterans attacked MSK.
3. Earlier today – Regal tells Zoey Stark that after her impressive debut last week he wants to give her an opportunity in the ring against Io Shirai. Stark gleefully accepts the non-title match.
4. Backstage, Cameron Grimes is watching the classic video of The Million Dollar Man offering a kid money to dribble a basketball. Grimes says time is money and cuts the video off before it ends. Grimes says he can do anything. Grimes bets a stagehand that if he will give him money if he can dribble a ball ten times. The guy does it and takes Grimes’ money. Grimes is flabbergasted. Grimes doesn’t understand why it didn’t work. The stagehand tells Grimes that The Million Dollar Man kicks the ball. Grimes goes nuts and exclaims that he should have watched the whole video.
5. Backstage – Johnny Gargano tells Austin Theory that he will send him for therapy to fix things up.
6. Outside the Arena – Cameron Grimes says he watched the full video and he gets it now. Grimes asks a woman (who is actually used to be in the WNBA- he has no idea) to dribble the ball ten times for 1000k. She eventually starts to dribble. As Grimes tries to kick the ball she hits him with a nasty crossover. Grimes is, once again, humiliated. Grimes pays up and goes on a rant about how The Million Dollar Man isn’t smarter than him.
7. Outside the Arena – Cameron Grimes asks someone else to bounce the ball. When the guy agrees, Grimes decks him. Grimes yells The Million Dollar Man isn’t smarter than him and money can buy happiness.
8. Backstage – Alexander Wolfe shakes his head at Killian Dain. Wolfs says Dain used to be a monster. Killian calls for the doctor for Drake Maverick
9. During a video package, LA Night says he is going to debut on the time of his choosing.
10. Adam Cole low blows Roderick Strong and Superkicks him.
