All Highlights and Major Moments from the Show
- The show began with “The Vision” faction entering the ring. Paul Heyman grabbed the microphone and started bragging, declaring himself “God in the city of Philadelphia” and “the GOAT.” Heyman then put over Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Seth Rollins as the Philly crowd made “OTC” chants for Roman Reigns. Jey Uso interrupted The Vision, standing in the crowd and begins mocking Bron Breakker, calling him “Seth’s puppy dog.” Seth Rollins then provoked Breakker against Jey Uso. This segment ended with an Extreme Rules match being officially announced for the main event between Jey Uso and Bron Breakker.
- As IYO SKY prepared to enter for her match against Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka and Kairi Sane confronted her. Asuka apologized to IYO for pushing her last week, and both Asuka and Kairi offered their support from ringside. However, IYO insisted she wanted to defeat Raquel on her own and proceeded to make her ring entrance.
- After IYO SKY’s victory over Raquel Rodriguez, Raquel and Roxanne Perez attacked IYO in the ring. Rhea Ripley rushed to IYO’s rescue, evening the odds. Together, Rhea and IYO fought off Raquel and Roxanne, standing tall in the ring as the segment concluded.
- Backstage, IYO SKY thanked Rhea Ripley for saving her from the earlier two-on-one assault. Asuka and Kairi Sane then arrived, leading to a heated argument between Asuka and Rhea. Asuka was visibly frustrated that Rhea helped IYO instead of her. IYO, annoyed by the drama, angrily left the scene, muttering in Japanese. Asuka told Rhea to stay out of their business.
- Following The Judgment Day’s victory over Dragon Lee and Mr. Iguana, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Finn Bálor attacked Mr. Iguana and Dragon Lee. Dominik was preparing to put Dragon Lee through the announce table when AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo made the save, taking out all three Judgment Day members. However, Dominik struck Vikingo from behind with the AAA Mega Championship, then hit him with a Frog Splash from the top rope, leaving The Judgment Day standing tall in the ring.
- Even after defeating Natalya via submission, Becky Lynch refused to release her armbar. Maxxine Dupri entered the ring and pushed Becky away, but Becky attacked her from behind and continued her assault. Nikki Bella rushed in and hit Becky with the Rack Attack 2.0, ending the segment with Nikki standing tall.
- Backstage, while Sheamus was being interviewed by Jackie Redmond, he had a heated confrontation with Rusev that nearly turned into a brawl. General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Sheamus and Rusev would face off in a “Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook” match at Clash in Paris (2025).
