WWE NXT Gold Rush Week 1 aired on November 18, 2025, featuring a shocking title change in the main event as Tatum Paxley’s title reign ended in less than a month. Zaria also betrayed her best friend, Sol Ruca, by helping Blake Monroe retain the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

- “All Ego” Ethan Page and Chelsea Green retained the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship by defeating Joe Hendry and Thea Hail via pinfall (Chelsea pinned Thea).
- Blake Monroe retained the NXT Women’s North American Championship by defeating Sol Ruca via surrender (Zaria threw in the towel).
- Darkstate (Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox) retained the NXT Tag Team Championship by defeating Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans via pinfall (Osiris pinned Slater).
- Jacy Jayne became the new NXT Women’s Champion by defeating Tatum Paxley via pinfall.
All Highlights and Major Moments from the Show
- Backstage, an unhappy Lola Vice complained to Jordynne Grace about Ethan Page and Chelsea Green still holding their titles. Tensions quickly shifted when Kelani Jordan confronted Lola for kicking her out of the locker room earlier, while Jordynne accused Kelani of spiraling because her reign as North American Women’s Champion is ending. Kelani fired back that jealousy doesn’t suit Jordynne, confidently declared she’ll remain champion for a long time, and told Jordynne she’ll see her next week.
- Backstage, NXT General Manager Ava announced that the men’s and women’s Iron Survivor Challenge matches will return at NXT Deadline. She revealed that, for the first time, one individual will hand-pick all the competitors for both matches and will finalize their selections next week. That person will be 16-time World Champion John Cena.
- Backstage interviewer Sarah Schreiber caught up with Tavion Heights in the crowd. Heights reflected on 2025, calling it a wild ride but saying he has no regrets about his time in the No Quarter Catch Crew because of everything he learned. He then put his name forward, expressing hope that John Cena selects him for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline. Suddenly, Josh Briggs blindsided Heights with a vicious attack. The two traded blows through the crowd, crashing into the merchandise area and destroying tables before referees and security finally separated them.
- Backstage, Zaria pulled Sol Ruca aside and asked if she was absolutely certain she wanted to challenge Blake Monroe. Sol confidently replied that she was, declaring that she’s the only one who can take the NXT Women’s North American Title back from Blake.
- Backstage, Fatal Influence stood confidently as Jacy Jayne hyped up the group ahead of their upcoming title opportunities. She declared that the gold rush begins tonight, reminding everyone that the Evolve Women’s Title and the NXT Women’s Championship all belong to them, and very soon the entire group will be draped in championship gold.
- NXT Champion Ricky Saints barely began addressing the crowd when Oba Femi marched to the ring. Saints acknowledged that he expected Femi’s return after dethroning him, but insisted the former champion can’t simply demand the title back. Femi fired back that he stayed away from the NXT-TNA drama and Saints’ fashion contests, returned stronger than ever, and is ready to end “The Absolute Era” by reclaiming the NXT Championship. Saints granted Femi his rematch at Deadline, only for Trick Williams to interrupt and declare nothing is over until he regains the title. Moments later, Myles Borne blindsided Trick with a chair, declared payback complete, and vowed to win the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge and face the Deadline winner at New Year’s Evil.
- Backstage, NXT General Manager Ava confronted Myles Borne for his vicious chair attack on Trick Williams and immediately booked Borne to face Trick in a match next week. As she issued the punishment, chaos erupted nearby as Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs were still going at it. Security and referees rushed in just in time to as Briggs chokeslams Heights through a table.
- Backstage, NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey told Wren Sinclair that she’s completely locked in and ready to retain her title tonight. The two briefly discussed Charlie Dempsey’s surprise appearance in TNA, but quickly shifted focus back to Kendal’s upcoming defense, with Wren assuring her that the No Quarter Catch Crew has her back.
- Backstage, a frustrated Sol Ruca vented that she should still be holding the NXT Women’s North American Title. She insisted she had Blake Monroe beat in their last encounter, but Zaria reminded her that she stepped in to prevent Sol from aggravating her injury just for pride. Sol fired back that it was exactly that pride that once made her a double champion, yet she still walked away visibly unhappy with the outcome.
