WWE Night of Champions, a premium live event, is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 28, 2025, but now dark clouds are hovering over this event. After the U.S. Air Force military strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, there is a high chance that this event might be either cancelled or relocated.
Fans of WWE Superstars are quite concerned, as there is a high risk of U.S. citizens being attacked in the Middle East region in the coming days. A red alert has already been issued in Saudi Arabia, as U.S. airbases are at high risk of being attacked by Iranian forces in an act of revenge.
Hosting a major WWE PLE in a Middle Eastern Islamic country like Saudi Arabia under such circumstances will put the lives of all WWE Superstars, officials, and management at massive risk. Many fans on social media are already tagging WWE’s official accounts, requesting them to cancel the event or shift it to another country.
According to our inside sources, TKO (WWE’s parent company) is closely monitoring the current situation, and if things worsen in the coming days, there is a high chance that this event might be postponed, as relocating such a large event on short notice will be very challenging for the company.
However, there is still a possibility that WWE might end up hosting this event in Saudi Arabia, as we all know how much money matters to these suits and ties compared to the lives of their employees.
What are your opinions? Are you okay with Night of Champions still happening in Saudi Arabia on June 28, 2025, or should WWE cancel it and shift it to another country? Tell us in the comments.
