As per a recent report, Rahul Dravid has already conveyed the BCCI about his unwillingness to continue as the head coach of team India and some of the officials of the highly rich Indian cricket board are not very keen on his re-appointment for the job.
In the entire coaching tenure of Rahul Dravid, team India failed to win any big ICC tournament and that alone made his re-appointment very unlikely.
Reports are also stating that Dravid is currently in contact with an IPL team for a big 2 year contract and if everything comes to fruition then we might see him sitting in the team dugout during IPL 2024.
As of right now, VVS Laxman is the prime contender to become the next head coach of team India and the former Hyderabadi cricketing legend has also expressed his keenness for the job in the recent past.
