But distractions don’t last long. Chandu, inspired by Santosh’s earnings, opens his own chaat stall with Santosh’s help.

Trouble brews quickly. A local don, Bhaiyaji, and his gang don’t take kindly to new businesses popping up without their blessing. After a brutal beatdown, Santosh steps in and convinces Bhaiyaji to let Chandu operate his stall. Crisis averted? Not quite.

Chandu then discovers a dark secret: Santosh has only maintained his prime chaat stall location because he allowed Rajini to “entertain” Bhaiyaji. Shocked, disgusted, and opportunistic, Chandu plays his own game. He brings Kiran, a woman from his village, and introduces her to Bhaiyaji as his wife.
