by Episode 42 of Laughter Chefs Season 3, aired on 12th April 2026, was a festive special dedicated to the celebration of Baisakhi. The episode featured special guest appearances by Sudesh Lehri’s wife, Mamta Lehri, and former Laughter Chefs contestant Debina Bonnerjee.
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi and host Bharti Singh tasked all seven pairs of celebrity contestants with preparing delicious traditional sweet dishes inspired by the festival, including Gudpare and Kheer Kodum.
Cooking Battle 1 – Gudpare
In the first cooking battle, contestants were challenged to prepare a popular Baisakhi-themed sweet dish – Gudpare – in the shape of a kite (patang).
Criteria for Gudpare:
- Minimum height of 8 inches
- Perfect Patang (kite) shape
- Saunf (fennel) flavour
- Excellent designing and presentation (replicating the given image)

Cooking Battle 2 – Kheer Kodum
In the second cooking battle, Chef Harpal asked the contestants to prepare the popular Bengali sweet dish Kheer Kodum.
Criteria for Kheer Kodum:
- Minimum 4-inch diameter
- Soft and spongy inside
- Rich and creamy outside
- Proportionate layers
- Perfect sweetness
