With the leaderboard set, it was time for the celebrity contestants to compete in two thrilling cooking battles!

Cooking Battle 1: Motichoor Laddu Challenge

Task:

Each celebrity pair had to prepare Motichoor Laddu with the following criteria:
Size: As big as a fist.
Shape & Binding: Needs to be perfect.
Quantity: Contestants had to prepare the maximum number of Laddus within the given time.

Judging & Review by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi

🔹 Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera Shah – Their Laddus were perfect in shape and size, but the boondi was slightly burnt. Still, they got a Chef Shabaashi for their effort.

🔹 Sudesh Lehri & Mannara Chopra – Their Laddus had the perfect shape and size, but the sugar was overcooked, which affected the taste.

🔹 Elvish Yadav & Abdu Rozik – They didn’t make their own laddus! Instead, they stole them from another team’s cooking station 🤣. However, the Laddus were hard, and the sugar syrup was overcooked.

🔹 Ankita Lokhande & Vicky Jain – Their Laddus were the right size but lacked proper shape. Also, the sugar syrup got overcooked, making them too hard and bitter.

🔹 Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya – Their Laddus were too small, and the binding was weak. They also added too much boondi, making the texture uneven.

🔹 Abhishek Kumar & Samarth Jurel – Their Laddus were well-shaped, and the taste was the best among all contestants. Chef Harpal Singh gave his signature compliment: “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle!” 🎉

Winner of Cooking Battle 1:

🥇 Abhishek Kumar & Samarth Jurel won Cooking Battle 1 and earned their first Golden Star ⭐.

Cooking Battle 2: Singhade Ke Vade & Thandai Challenge

Task:

Each pair had to prepare Singhade Ke Vade (Water Chestnut Fritters) and Thandai (a festive Indian drink).

Singhade Ke Vade Criteria:

  • Texture: Crispy outside, soft inside.
  • Color: Golden brown.
  • Taste & Flavor: Well-balanced seasoning.

Thandai Criteria:

  • At least 2 glasses of Thandai.
  • Consistency: Smooth & thick.
  • Flavor Balance: Well-spiced with perfect sweetness.
