Cooking Battle 1 – Popcorn & Candy Floss Challenge
The six celebrity pairs were given the challenge of cooking two bunches of Candy Floss and multiple boxes of Popcorn.
Criteria for Judging:
✅ Candy Floss – Needed to be vibrant in colour, light, airy, and well-presented.
✅ Popcorn – Should be perfectly popped, crunchy, and served in the maximum number of boxes.
After the time was up, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi tasted the Popcorn & Candy Floss made by each pair:
- Abhishek Kumar & Samarth Jurel – Crunchy popcorn but their Candy Floss lacked quantity.
- Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya – Some of their popcorn was burnt, but they impressed with Chaat Masala & Peri Peri flavours. Their Candy Floss was moist but tasted good.
- Ankita Lokhande & Vicky Jain – Made perfectly crunchy popcorn and beautifully coloured Candy Floss, making them strong contenders.
- Elvish Yadav & Abdu Rozik – Their popcorn was the whitest and crunchiest, while their Candy Floss lacked thickness.
- Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera Shah – Though they impressed by making a mocktail for the chef, they could only make 2.5 boxes of popcorn and their Candy Floss was almost non-existent.
- Sudesh Lehri & Mannara Chopra – Had the worst Candy Floss and Popcorn, receiving a warning from Chef Harpal to improve.
Winner of Cooking Battle 1:
🏆 Ankita Lokhande & Vicky Jain won the round and earned a Golden Star!
Cooking Battle 2 – Masala Pav Challenge
For the second round, contestants had to prepare Masala Pav, a popular street food.
Criteria for Judging:
✅ Each pair had to prepare two Masala Pav.
✅ The Masala had to be made from scratch and include at least four different vegetables.
✅ The taste needed to match the authentic Chowpatty-style Masala Pav.
Before cooking, one contestant from each pair was sent to collect ingredients from the market within a limited time:
✔ Rubina Dilaik
✔ Abhishek Kumar
✔ Vicky Jain
✔ Abdu Rozik
✔ Mannara Chopra
✔ Krushna Abhishek
After collecting the ingredients, all six pairs cooked their Masala Pav, and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi began tasting the dishes:
- Ankita Lokhande & Vicky Jain – Their Masala Pav tasted slightly bitter due to excess lemon, but their effort was appreciated.
- Abhishek Kumar & Samarth Jurel – The Pav was crispy, but the Masala was burnt, making it taste bitter.
- Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya – Their Masala Pav was delicious, earning a “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle” from Chef Harpal.
- Elvish Yadav & Abdu Rozik – Their Masala Pav was too dry due to insufficient butter.
- Sudesh Lehri & Mannara Chopra – Their Masala Pav was soft and perfectly balanced in flavors. Unlike some other pairs, they ensured that the Masala was cooked to perfection, giving it an authentic Chowpatty-style taste. Chef Harpal was highly impressed and complimented them with his signature phrase, “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle”.
- Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera Shah – Though their Pav was not traditional Chowpatty-style, Chef Harpal appreciated their creativity.
Winners of Cooking Battle 2:
🏆 Rubina Dilaik & Rahul Vaidya

🏆 Krushna Abhishek & Kashmera Shah
(All three pairs received a Golden Star for their outstanding efforts.)
