Despite being at a clear disadvantage due to Elvish Yadav’s absence, Karan Kundrra outshone all competing pairs with his masterful cooking. Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi praised the design and perfect replication of Karan’s Bandar Drumeshwar Ji dish, awarding him a Golden Star for winning Cooking Battle 1.
Before the start of Cooking Battle 2, Karan Kundrra’s girlfriend and popular TV actress Tejasswi Prakash joined him as his temporary partner for the remainder of the episode, giving him a significant boost after cooking solo in Cooking Battle 1.

All seven celebrity contestant pairs were tasked with cooking a unique dish called Dholak Swiss Roll.
