The episode kicked off with all 8 celebrity contestants and the three judges arriving at a stunning beachside villa. After some fun banter, the judges introduced the Coconut Team Challenge, where contestants were split into two teams to create a four-course meal using coconut as the main ingredient.

🏆 Gaurav Khanna Gets a Special Advantage!

Since Gaurav Khanna won the previous episode’s Replica Dish Challenge, he received a big advantage:
He was made the captain of one team.
He got to choose the captain of the opposing team.

👉 Gaurav selected Archana Gautam as the captain of the second team, and both leaders picked their teammates.

🍽️ Coconut Team Challenge Rules & Cooking Timeline

Each team had to prepare a four-course meal where coconut was the hero ingredient in every dish. The courses had to be served in stages:

Welcome Drink/Salad – Served after 30 minutes
Appetizer – Served after 60 minutes
Main Course – Served after 90 minutes
Dessert – Served after 120 minutes

📌 The MasterChef Pantry was closed, and only the Coconut Pantry was available for ingredient collection.

The winning team would receive a major advantage in the next challenge!

🔥 Mid-Challenge Twist – Tandoor vs. Fire Pit

Halfway through the challenge, the judges introduced an unexpected twist!

🥇 Since Gaurav had won the previous challenge, he got another advantage:
👉 He had to choose between using a Tandoor or a Fire Pit for one of the remaining courses.

📌 Gaurav picked Tandoor, meaning Team Red (Archana’s team) had to use a Fire Pit in one of their dishes!
