by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s juggernaut titled Animal has made a collection of Rs 63 crores from its first day business at Indian box office and looking at the immense positive response from the public along with superb reviews from critics early on, it seems that the 200 crore mark in the first weekend is looking like a real possibility for this film.
Despite of having a non-holiday release, adult rating, and a direct Day 1 clash with Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, Animal got the second biggest opening of all time in the Indian cinema history. Animal doesn’t have any superstar cameos like Pathan or Tiger 3, but still it is currently shattering records at the box office.
From the national chains alone on Day 1, Animal has made a income of Rs 31 crores and these figures will increase in the next 2 days because of the weekend holiday in the various parts of India.

With the grand success of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor has truly solidified himself as the next big mega star of Bollywood after the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Seems like Bobby Deol has also reignited his Bollywood career with this film as his performance as the main villain is receiving a lot of praise from the public.
Business of Animal on Day 2 and Day 3 will give us a proper indication about the estimated lifetime income of this film, but at this point of time, sky is the limit for this Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna starrer.
