WWE SmackDown 18 February 2022 Written Updates and Results, Sami Zayn becomes new IC Champion

With just a day before Elimination Chamber 2022 event, Sami Zayn gets crowned as the new InterContinental Champion on todays episode of SmackDown. Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match which took place for about 20+ minutes and at the end of that match Sami was the new champ. Apart from that contract signing for women’s tag team match at Elimination Chamber took place and that match now has a new special stipulation as Ronda Rousey will compete with one arm tied behind her back.

A spectacular video package was shown announcing the induction of legendary Undertaker in 2022 Hall of Fame Class. Drew McIntyre cuts an in-ring promo and he said that he is going to destroy Madcap Moss. Moss and Happy Corbin interrupts and Moss tells a bad joke. McIntyre vows that the Elimination Chamber is going to be the night the laughter died.
