In VMX app’s original film Ang Modista, also titled as The Dressmaker, gorgeous Micaella Raz plays the role of a seamstress who takes advantage of her curvy body to attract male customers to her store and make more money to fulfill her financial requirements. But the arrival of a rich tall guy changes her life forever by bringing in immense pleasure along with trouble for her.
Directed by Ronald Espinosa Batallones, this film is 1 hour 18 minutes long. Alongside Micaella Raz, the gorgeous VMX seductress Kim Yashii is playing the other female lead in this film. Micaella in particular has given a lot of bold romantic scenes in this film as she can even be seen making out with male and female mannequins in this film, which might sound a bit weird to the readers of this article, but the scenes are just too spicy to watch. Also, the newcomer Kim Yashii has given a lot of bold content in this film while playing the main antagonist.
Storyline
Elsie is a seamstress and she stitches clothes at her shop which she does not own and is on rent, but her dream is to fully own it by buying it from her landlady named Betchay. Most of Elsie’s customers are men and she charges them extra money by giving them sexual favours in return. One day a tall handsome rich old man named Joel arrives at her shop and she takes his measurements to make a suit for him and she gets attracted to him at first sight.
Soon Joel and Elsie fall in love with each other and they get involved in a physical relationship. Joel even gives 5 million Philippine pesos to Elsie so she can buy the shop where she works.
Things take a nasty turn when a woman named Gigi, who turns out to be Joel’s daughter, enters the frame and she starts troubling Elsie by blackmailing her that she wants Elsie to kill her father Joel so Gigi can inherit his money as her mother is already dead due to cancer and Gigi is not even Joel’s biological daughter which Joel is not aware about. If Elsie refuses then Gigi will make the explicit videos of Elsie viral which she has sent to Joel on his phone and if Elsie accepts the offer then she will get 3 million as down payment.
Problems rise more for Elsie when landlady Betchay tells her that she is selling the shop to some other buyer because the buyer has outbid Elsie and he is paying her 7 million.
