Grand Finale Part 1 aired in episode 55 of MTV Splitsvilla X6. All four finalist couples competed in one last task to win the trophy, 20 lakh rupees prize money, and other exciting rewards.
Before the grand finale began, all ex-contestants from this season joined the top four finalist couples. The mischief makers also introduced special twists that brought both advantages and disadvantages for the finalists.
The episode started with the four finalist couples – Sorab & Niharika, Tayne & Soundharya, Gullu & Kaira, and Yogesh & Ruru – celebrating their journey to the grand finale.
Soon after, all the ex-Splitsvillains returned and joined the finalists. Diksha and Himanshu looked upset about not reaching the finale. Anisha got into a huge verbal fight with Chakshdeep as both hurled insults at each other, accusing one another of having a romantic affair before the show.
The contestants then received a notification to head to the finale task location. All four finalist couples got ready and reached the venue, where they were welcomed by hosts Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra.
Karan and Sunny announced that the grand finale task was about to begin and explained the rules in detail.
Rules of the Grand Finale Task:
- Stage 1: The girl is tied at the top of a tower. The boy must break the ceiling of each floor to reach the top. Each floor has a box containing a number. The boy must collect all the numbers, reach the top, and use the correct combination to unlock and untie the girl. The couple then jumps down from the top of the tower.
- Stage 2: The couple must break five red flag pots and collect keys. One of the keys will open a chest.
- Stage 3: The couple must reach the top of another tower where a chest contains pieces of a heart. They need to assemble the heart.
- Stage 4: The couple must cross a trust bridge without falling. If they fall, they have to restart from the beginning.
- Final Stage: The couple must complete the heart puzzle to finish the task.
- The couple that completes the entire task in the least amount of time wins.
- Throughout the task, four briefcases each containing 5 lakh rupees are placed. Performing couples needs to collect these briefcases.
After the rules were announced, mischief makers Uorfi Javed and Nia Sharma introduced a new twist with six envelopes. Two envelopes contained advantages, two contained disadvantages, and two contained hard luck (nothing). Each couple had to bid for the envelopes using their split coins. Disadvantages won through bidding could be given to rival couples.
Split Coins Count of Each Couple:
- Tayne and Soundharya: 2,34,700
- Niharika and Sorab: 1,98,200
- Yogesh and Ruru: 1,48,500
- Gullu and Kaira: 1,11,500
Winning Bids by Each Couple:
- Niharika & Sorab won envelope one for 1,20,000 and received hard luck.
- Gullu & Kaira won envelope two for 1,10,000 and got the advantage of transferring only 3 heart pieces instead of 4.
- Yogesh & Ruru won envelope three for 1,10,000 and received a 30-second head start in the task.
- Tayne & Soundharya won envelope four for 80,000 and gave a 30-second delayed start disadvantage to Gullu & Kaira.
- Tayne & Soundharya also gave a disadvantage to Yogesh & Ruru, forcing them to break seven red pots instead of five.
The mischief makers also announced that after collecting the fourth 5 lakh rupees briefcase during the task, one couple could choose to quit and leave with that prize money.
Final Results of the Grand Finale Task:
After the task was completed, it was announced that the results would not be revealed immediately. They will be declared after a few months. No couple quit with the 5 lakh prize money, and all four couples successfully completed the task.
