by The auspicious festival of Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the 30th episode of Laughter Chefs Season 3, which aired on March 1, 2026. All celebrity contestants enjoyed throwing colours at each other, while a special appearance by Amaal Mallik made the episode even more entertaining.
During this Holi Special episode, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi challenged the celebrity contestants to prepare festive-themed dishes such as Thandai Ke Gubbare, Teekha Gathiya, and Amrud Ki Chutney. The winners of the two cooking battles received golden stars along with Chef Harpal’s praises.

Holi Celebrations and Fun Moments
The episode began with all celebrity contestants entering the kitchen to celebrate Holi by playing with colours. Sudesh Lehri then made everyone laugh by performing a hilarious version of Rang Barse, teasing his fellow contestants with his comedic touch.
After the celebrations settled, Chef Harpal announced the first cooking battle of the Holi special episode.
Cooking Battle 1: Thandai Ke Gubbare
For the first battle, contestants had to create a unique version of the traditional Holi drink, Thandai Ke Gubbare.
Criteria for Thandai Ke Gubbare:
- Two Gubbare
- Flavour-rich Thandai
- Vibrant colours
After the preparation time ended, Chef Harpal tasted each drink and announced the winning pair.

- Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar
Their creation impressed Chef Harpal the most with its taste, colour, and nuttiness. He praised them saying, “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle,” and awarded them a golden star.
Cooking Battle 2: Teekha Gathiya and Amrud Ki Chutney
In the second cooking battle, all seven celebrity pairs were asked to prepare Teekha Gathiya along with Amrud Ki Chutney.
Criteria for Teekha Gathiya:
- Eight sticks of Gathiya
- Minimum eight inches per stick
- Perfect colour
Criteria for Amrud Ki Chutney:
- Smoky Amrud flavour
- Perfect consistency
- Chatpata taste
- Appealing presentation (as shown in the reference video)

After collecting ingredients from the pantry, contestants started cooking at their stations. Host Bharti Singh and judge Chef Harpal kept the atmosphere lively, as everyone continued to joke and have fun while cooking.
During this round, the talented singer Amaal Mallik made a special guest appearance. He entertained the audience and contestants by performing a few of his songs, including the popular tracks “Aashiq Surrender Hua” and “Yahin Guzaar Doon.”
Once the cooking time ended, Chef Harpal and Amaal Mallik tasted the dishes and decided the winners.
