Episode 23 of Laughter Chefs Season 3, which aired on February 7, 2026, featured all seven pairs of contestants competing in two cooking battles. In the first round, each pair was tasked with preparing a dish of their choice using specific ingredients. In the second battle, contestants challenged one another by assigning difficult dishes to cook.

Legendary comedian Sudesh Lehri was absent from this episode. In his place, singer Rahul Vaidya made a special guest appearance and was paired with Nia Sharma. Together, they put in great effort to impress Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi and host Bharti Singh with their cooking.

The episode began with a pre-recorded video message from Sudesh Lehri, informing everyone that he was busy shooting a film with Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee and would therefore miss the episode. Taking his spot, Rahul Vaidya entered the show, only to be humorously teased by the other contestants for calling himself a big celebrity.

In the first cooking battle, all seven celebrity pairs were given savory ingredients such as onion, garlic, and ginger. Chef Harpal instructed them to prepare any sweet dish of their choice using at least one of these “hero” ingredients.

After each pair selected the sweet dish they wanted to prepare using the provided hero ingredients, all teams began cooking on their respective platforms. Once the allotted time expired, Chef Harpal tasted the sweet dishes prepared by each pair and then announced the winners of Cooking Battle 1.

Chef Harpal praised the sweet and crispy Ginger Strips Fortune Cookies by Karan and Elvish, as well as the Onion Halwa by Jannat and Aly. Both pairs received golden stars along with Chef Harpal’s signature compliment, “Zubaan ki ho gayi balle balle!”

Cooking Battle 2: Select a Dish for Your Opponent

In the second cooking battle, each pair was given an envelope containing the names of two dishes. They had to select one dish from their envelope for their opponent to cook.

  • Nia and Rahul challenged Vicky and Ankita to cook Matar Nimona
  • Vicky and Ankita challenged Arjun and Tejasswi to cook Lasagna
  • Arjun and Tejasswi challenged Abhishek and Samarth to cook Sindhi Curry
  • Karan and Elvish challenged Aly and Jannat to cook Arbi Tikka Masala

Market Run:

In a rare instance, Chef Harpal allowed all contestants to collect ingredients for the second cooking battle themselves.

After gathering their ingredients, each pair began cooking the dishes assigned by their opponents. When the time ended, Chef Harpal judged all the dishes and revealed the winners.

Four pairs impressed Chef Harpal with their dishes and were each awarded golden stars, improving their overall leaderboard standings.
