by In a battle between Team Purani Khau Gully and Team Nayi Khau Gully on Laughter Chefs Season 3 Episode 14, celebrity contestants were tasked with making popular street food dishes like Kachora and Usal Poha in two cooking battles. The winners of these battles were awarded golden stars and team stars.
At the start of Episode 14, the celebrity contestants arrived on stage as Team Kaanta members represented Purani Khau Gully, while Team Chhuri members represented Nayi Khau Gully. Elvish Yadav and Aly Goni distributed samosas and vada pavs to all contestants, and both teams exchanged funny shayaris to kick off the competition.
A famous Kachori vendor from Mathura named Roopa Kachori Wala then joined as a special guest. He entertained everyone with his humorous remarks and offered all the contestants his signature kachoris and samosas. After this, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi announced the first cooking battle of the evening.

Cooking Battle 1
In the first cooking battle, contestants from both teams were asked to prepare a famous Khau Gully special dish named Kachora.
Criteria for Kachora:
- Minimum 8-inch size
- Khasta texture
- Dal filling
- Perfect shape
- Golden brown color
After announcing the criteria, both teams began preparing Kachora to impress Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Once the allotted time ended, Chef Harpal judged all the celebrity pairs, shared his expert feedback, and revealed the winners.

- Winning Team: Team Kaanta
Chef Harpal praised the khasta texture, presentation, and taste of Aly and Jannat’s Kachora. He complimented them with his signature dialogue “Zubaan Ki Ho Gayi Balle Balle” and declared them the winners of Cooking Battle 1, awarding them golden stars and a team star for Team Kaanta.
After the first battle, Roopa Kachori Wala left the set, and Chef Harpal announced the second cooking challenge.
Cooking Battle 2
In the second cooking battle, all seven celebrity pairs were asked to prepare another popular Khau Gully dish—Usal Poha. Samarth Jurel and Tejasswi Prakash were chosen as team captains by Chef Harpal.

- 2 plates Poha
- Masaledaar Usal
- Khila Poha
- Special masala & hero ingredient
- Signature color
- Presentation (matching the reference image)
After the criteria were revealed, Bharti Singh announced the contestants selected for the pantry run to collect ingredients within the time limit.

- Gurmeet Choudhary
- Isha Malviya
- Karan Kundrra
The selected participants quickly gathered ingredients, and after the cooking time ended, each celebrity pair presented their dishes to Chef Harpal.
