With family and old teammates in attendance, he acknowledges the challenge posed by Brock Lesnar, whom he describes as intimidating and nearly invincible. Cena admits Lesnar’s past matches were among his toughest, yet he accepts the challenge, refusing to back down despite the fear of failure. Emphasizing his role as the “last real champion,” Cena vows to leave WWE better than he found it, promising to give his all in the ring against Lesnar in what he calls a clash of generational titans, confidently declaring that his jorts will outlast Lesnar’s jeans and that he will emerge victorious.
  • After the match between Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez ended, Lyra was attacked from behind and laid out by Raquel Rodriguez, who had been ejected from the match earlier for tripping Lyra on the outside. Roxanne also joined Raquel in the assault. Suddenly, Bayley rushed to the ring and fought Roxanne and Raquel, quickly gaining the upper hand, with Roxanne receiving a Bayley-to-Belly Suplex from Bayley. Bayley soon started hearing the voices in her head again but blocked them out and suddenly began hugging everyone by ringside (Hugger Bayley vibes), including Corey Graves and Joe Tessitore at the commentary table, ring announcer Alicia Taylor, referee Jessika Carr, and the front-row fans, much to Lyra’s confusion as Bayley walked back, laughing and smiling, while Lyra looked shocked.
  • Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce had both Stephanie Vaquer and IYO SKY signs the contract for their Women’s World Championship match at WrestlePalooza (2025). Both women showed respect to each other by shaking hands, as IYO, with a cute smile on her face, told Stephanie that she is confident she will win. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) entered the scene, and Asuka told Stephanie that nobody is ready for Iyo Sky. Asuka then informed Stephanie that she will face Kairi Sane tonight. Adam Pearce made the match official as Asuka left, and then Kairi also left, playfully shadowboxing as Asuka called her out by yelling, ‘Kairi!’
  • Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch entered the ring and grabbed the mic, ignoring ‘CM Punk’ chants from the Springfield, Massachusetts crowd to address Netflix viewers. Rollins introduced Becky, but CM Punk and AJ Lee interrupted, with Punk praising AJ and calling himself AJ’s husband, which culminated in loud ‘AJ’s husband’ chants from the crowd. Punk criticized Seth and Becky for their egos and inability to share the spotlight. Rollins called Punk selfish but credited his marriage to AJ, while warning of professional regrets. AJ and Becky exchanged barbs, with Becky questioning AJ’s neck injury and reliability, and AJ admitting her unpredictability. Rollins claimed he could predict Punk’s tendency to abandon others, warning AJ about Saturday’s match, suggesting Punk might leave her after losing. This made AJ extremely angry, and she hit Rollins with a tight slap, prompting Becky to consider retreating from the ring after arguing with Rollins. However, it was all a ploy by Becky and Rollins. As Punk chased Rollins out of the ring, leaving AJ alone, Becky took advantage of the distraction, hit AJ with a Manhandle Slam, and then slapped Punk before fleeing the ring. Rollins and Becky ended up standing tall on the ramp as Punk tended to AJ, who was lying flat in the ring after taking the Manhandle Slam from Becky.
  • Backstage, Lyra Valkyrie overhears Bayley arguing with someone in the locker room, as if Bayley’s own voice is alternating between two different tones coming from behind the door. Lyra enters the room and finds a suddenly calm Bayley sitting on the couch. Lyra thanks her for her help with Raquel and Roxanne, especially after what happened between Lyra and Bayley a few weeks ago. However, Bayley explodes at Lyra, sounding somewhat like the “Role Model” version of herself, before abruptly leaving, which leaves Lyra very confused.
  • After the match between Stephanie Vaquer and Kairi Sane ended, Asuka was about to enter the ring to attack Stephanie Vaquer, but IYO SKY rushed out and stood between Stephanie and Asuka. IYO convinced Asuka not to attack Stephanie, and Asuka reluctantly left the ring. Then, IYO and Stephanie had a staredown and shook hands in the ring while smiling at each other.
  • Backstage, IYO SKY and Asuka got into an argument again, with Kairi Sane tearfully trying to stop Asuka from yelling at IYO for no reason. IYO told Asuka that she must win on her own, as Asuka had done. Asuka finally listened to IYO but angrily left while Kairi continued to sob. Then, Asuka called out to Kairi by yelling “Kairi!” after which Kairi left.
  • Backstage, The Judgment Day rejoices over “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio becoming a double champion, but Finn Balor tempers the celebration, citing Roxanne and Raquel’s difficult night and El Grande Americano’s interference in Dominik’s matches. Dominik claims El Grande Americano seeks his respect, but Balor warns him not to involve him or JD McDonagh in his “King of the Luchadors” antics before they exit. Abruptly, Rusev appears, introducing himself to Dominik and boldly declaring his goal to become the next Intercontinental Champion.
  • After the main event tag team match ended, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker ganged up on Jimmy Uso, and Breakker hit Jimmy with a high-speed Spear. Bronson then went for a Tsunami, but Jey Uso appeared with a steel chair in hand. Breakker got smacked with the chair, but Bronson knocked it away. Jey Uso had to put up a fight before hitting Bronson with a steel chair shot so hard that the impact echoed around the arena. Jey checked on Jimmy, but Knight grabbed the steel chair. Jey saw it coming and stared Knight down. Knight threw the chair aside before shaking hands with Jey. As soon as Jey turned around, Knight hit him with the BFT and left the ring as the show went off the air.
