All Highlights and Major Happenings from the Show

  • The show kicked off with new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and his newly named faction, The Vision, entering the ring. Paul Heyman grabbed the microphone, boasting about being the GOAT and referencing Rollins’ dethroning of CM Punk mere minutes after Punk had won the title at SummerSlam 2025. Rollins then took the mic, berating the crowd for turning their backs on him and chanting for CM Punk and “OTC” Roman Reigns. He also criticized the RAW roster for trying to prevent his Money in the Bank cash-in, revealing he always has a secret Plan B, which he had disclosed only to his wife Becky Lynch and his “Oracle,” Paul Heyman, before officially announcing The Vision as his faction’s name.
  • LA Knight interrupted, calling Seth out for faking an injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event and challenging him to a title match. Rollins refused, but General Manager Adam Pearce arrived and booked them in the night’s main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed barred from ringside.
  • Backstage, AJ Styles confronted Dominik Mysterio, saying that while Dominik might have been clever with his SummerSlam win, Styles would keep pursuing the Intercontinental champion until he ran out of tricks.
  • Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss entered the ring and gave speeches about becoming the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. They engaged in their usual banter, playfully mocking each other and hinting at saying the “F” (Friends) word. Alexa and Charlotte were interrupted by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Raquel said they hadn’t come out just to watch—they were there to win the titles back. Charlotte and Alexa accepted the challenge. Adam Pearce arrived and announced that the match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship would start right now. Referee Jessika Carr hurried to the ring, and the match began.
  • Backstage, Asuka and Kairi Sane were seen throwing shade at IYO SKY when Rhea Ripley approached IYO. Asuka told IYO to go talk to her friend, and then she and Kairi left. Rhea said to IYO, “I want you to beat Naomi, because nothing would please me more than beating you and winning the Women’s World Heavyweight Championship.” When Rhea was about to walk away, IYO grabbed her hand and said, “Rhea, you are never going to beat me,” after which IYO smiled and left.
  • Bayley and Lyra Valkyria had a confrontation backstage. Lyra told Bayley, “We are not good for each other. We’re not friends, and we’re not enemies, so stay the hell out of my way.”
  • After Dominik Mysterio defeated Dragon Lee, he attempted to hit Dragon with his shoe, but AJ Styles ran out, snatched the shoe, kicked Dominik in the gut, and threw the shoe at him as Dominik retreated.
  • Becky Lynch entered the ring and began gloating about defending her Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyria at SummerSlam the previous night. Becky was interrupted by Nikki Bella. The two then engaged in a back-and-forth promo battle, during which Nikki mocked Becky and her husband Seth Rollins, calling both of them liars. Becky fired back by taunting Nikki about her past relationship with John Cena, which drew a big reaction from the crowd. Nikki challenged Becky to an Intercontinental Championship match, but Becky declined and left the ring after hitting Nikki with a cheap shot to the face.
  • It was announced that Naomi would defend her Women’s World Championship next week against IYO SKY on RAW.
  • During the main event—Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight—CM Punk jumped the barricade and attacked Rollins, causing Rollins to win by disqualification. After the bell, Punk continued assaulting Rollins until LA Knight intervened, but Punk ignored him and brawled with Rollins up the ramp. Suddenly, Bron Breakker speared Punk, and Bronson Reed joined in to attack Knight; the duo viciously beat down both opponents. Rollins and his faction, The Vision, then took control, with Rollins delivering his finisher, the Stomp, to both Knight and Punk. When Roman Reigns’ music hit, he entered and attacked Breakker and Reed, but Rollins managed to hit Reigns with a Stomp while his allies held Roman down for Breakker’s spear and Reed’s three consecutive Tsunamis—despite Adam Pearce sending referees to stop the chaos. The show closed with Rollins defiantly holding up his title, declaring himself in charge, and The Vision standing tall as Bronson Reed once again stole Reigns’ shoes.
