We saw the crowning of new WWE Tag Team Champions, and all 20 participants for the Women’s Battle Royal match, which will take place at Evolution (2025), were revealed. A big tag team match took place in the main event, with LA Knight and Jimmy Uso teaming up against Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo.

The 11 July 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. This arena has a capacity of 20,000 and was packed with fans. This was the blue brand’s (SmackDown) go-home show for both Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution (2025) premium live events.

  • Alexa Bliss won the Women’s Fatal 4-Way Match by defeating Kairi Sane, Sol Ruca, and Roxanne Perez (Bliss pinned Sane).
  • The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis) became the new WWE Tag Team Champions by defeating The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) via pinfall (Gacy pinned Ford).
  • R-Truth defeated Aleister Black via pinfall.
  • LA Knight and Jimmy Uso defeated Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo via pinfall (Jimmy pinned Solo).

  • LA Knight kicked off the show with a promo but was soon interrupted by Paul Heyman. Heyman told LA Knight that he has no future in this industry. Heyman was then interrupted by Solo Sikoa and his MFTs, who told Heyman to leave or face the consequences. Heyman left. Sikoa made the same offer to LA Knight, but Knight refused to leave the ring. Solo and his MFTs surrounded the ring to attack Knight, but Jimmy Uso came to Knight’s rescue. General Manager Nick Aldis then announced a tag team match between Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo vs. LA Knight and Jimmy Uso for later tonight.
  • WWE revealed the 20 participants for the Women’s Battle Royal, which will take place at the Evolution (2025) Premium Live Event (PLE). They are: Nikki Bella, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Zelina Vega, Natalya, Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, Lash Legend, Jaida Parker, Maxxine Dupri, Nia Jax, Chelsea Green, Ivy Nile, Izzi Dame, Alba Fyre, Piper Niven, B-Fab, Kelani Jordan, Candice LeRae, and Michin.
  • Popular American singer Jelly Roll performed in the ring but was interrupted by Logan Paul. Paul insulted Jelly Roll, prompting Randy Orton to intervene. Orton verbally berated Paul, but Drew McIntyre attacked Orton from behind with a Claymore and left the ring. Paul then began attacking Orton with a barrage of punches until Jelly Roll threw Paul out of the ring.
  • Backstage, after losing to R-Truth in a squash match, a frustrated Aleister Black was calmed down by Damian Priest. However, as soon as Priest turned his back, Black attacked him with a stiff knee strike and multiple roundhouse kicks.
  • Wade Barrett hosted an in-ring interview with Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus ahead of their match at Evolution (2025) for the WWE Women’s Championship. Trish vowed to become an eight-time Women’s Champion by defeating Stratton. They were interrupted by Naomi, who reminded them that she is the current Miss Money in the Bank. Naomi was then attacked from behind by Jade Cargill, leading to a brawl that officials broke up.
  • The night ended with Bron Breakker attacking LA Knight with a spear from behind while Knight was distracted by Paul Heyman, followed by a Tsunami from “Big” Bronson Reed on LA Knight as the show went off the air.
