This week’s episode of WWE NXT was the go-home show for both NXT Great American Bash and Evolution premium live events. The two-hour show did an excellent job building anticipation for both upcoming events, and props to all the talent involved.

- Ricky Saints defeated the Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, and Jackson Drake) in a Gauntlet Match (Stipulation: If Ricky Saints wins, he gets to decide the stipulation for his match for NXT North American Championship at NXT Great American Bash)
- Charlie Dempsey defeated Tavion Height as Wren Sinclair throws in the towel for Tavion
- Mike Santana & Joe Hendry defeated The High Ryze (Tyriek Igwe & Tyson DuPont) via Pinfall.
- Kelani Jordan defeated Lainey Reid via Pinfall
- Hank and Tank Ledger retained their NXT Tag Team Championship by defeating The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance) via Pinfall
WWE NXT 8 July 2025 Highlights – Important Happenings During the Show
- Ricky Saints challenged ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page to a Falls Count Anywhere Match for the NXT North American Championship at the NXT Great American Bash (2025) PLE.
- Tavion Heights will remain with NQCC, as he lost his match against Charlie Dempsey.
- Blake Monroe took Jordynne Grace to a makeup and spa session. Jordynne initially appeared annoyed but later thanked Blake for the enjoyable time and vowed to win both her upcoming matches at NXT Great American Bash and Evolution.
- In an in-ring segment, Josh Briggs told Oba Femi that at NXT Great American Bash, he will do everything in his power to ensure Yoshiki Inamura leaves as the NXT Champion.
- In a sit-down with The D’Angelo Family, Adrianna Rizzo informed Tony D’Angelo, Stacks Lorenzo, and Luca Crusifino that she spoke with Ava, and next week, all three will face each other in a triple-threat match.
- Ava Raine announced the participants from the NXT roster who will enter the 20-Women’s Battle Royal at Evolution (2025): Jaida Parker, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Izzi Dame, and Tatum Paxley.
- Fatal Influence, Jordynne Grace, Stephanie Vaquer, Natalya, Maxxine Dupri, Zelina Vega, Ivy Nile, and other women who are part of Evolution this weekend have started arriving and talking about how they will make an impact at the event. The show went off the air as all the women ended up brawling inside the ring.
