Four girls—Svetlana, Rima, Komal, and Nikita—who live in a hostel in Delhi refuse to leave the premises because they claim that something inside Room 333 is preventing them from stepping outside. Six months ago, they lost their friend Anu in a road accident; Anu used to live in Room 333, the same room now believed to be haunted by an evil spirit, according to her friends.
A girl named Madhu arrives at the hostel and is allotted Room 333 by the warden. Soon, Madhu starts having terrifying experiences. Originally from Gwalior, Madhu is a former victim of molestation by a man named Nakul. In Delhi, she comes face to face with Nakul again, which worsens her trauma.
The girls in the hostel seek help from a doctor named Hakim, who specializes in curing diseases caused by supernatural forces. There is also a murder angle in the storyline: a constable named Ilu Mishra, who is a friend of the hostel warden, is searching for her lost son Jeeva, missing for six months. Eventually, she discovers that Jeeva is dead.
