by Laughter Chefs Season 2 Episode 51, which aired on July 19, 2025, was the semi-final week episode of the show, and we saw legendary singer Altaf Raja appear as the special guest. The winner’s trophy was also revealed during this episode, and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi gave the celebrity cooks the challenge of preparing complex dishes like Bhelpuri Papdi Cone, Puttu, and Veg Ghassi.
The episode began with host Bharti Singh introducing the legendary singer from the 90s, Altaf Raja, as the special guest. He entered singing his famous song “Tum Toh Thehre Pardesi,” and all the celebrity cooks were seen grooving to his beats.
Bharti Singh then revealed the trophy of Laughter Chefs Season 2, which will be awarded to a winning pair next week in the grand finale. Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi then announced the first cooking battle of the episode.

Cooking Battle 1
All seven pairs of celebrity contestants were tasked with cooking a funky dish called Bhelpuri Papdi Cone.
Criteria for Bhelpuri Papdi Cone:
- 2 cones
- 8-inch size
- Crispy cones
- Chatpata flavour
All seven pairs of celebrity cooks started preparing the Bhelpuri Papdi Cone. After the time limit expired, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi gave his expert remarks on each pair’s dish, and the results of Cooking Battle 1 were announced.
Winning Pair:
Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi loved the taste of their Bhelpuri as well as the crispiness of the cones. He complimented them with his signature dialogue, “Zubaan Ki Hogayi Balle Balle,” and awarded them a Golden Star.
After Cooking Battle 1 concluded, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi immediately announced Cooking Battle 2 for all seven celebrity cooks.
Cooking Battle 2
All seven celebrity contestant pairs were given the tough task of cooking Puttu and Veg Ghassi.
Criteria for Puttu:
- 2 puttus
- 6-inch size
- Cylinder shape
- Soft & smooth texture
Criteria for Veg Ghassi:
- Authentic Mangalorean flavour
- Minimum 3 veggies
- Rich, reddish-orange gravy
- Perfect consistency
Host Bharti Singh announced the names of the contestants from each pair who would collect ingredients from the pantry within the given time limit:

- Samarth Jurel
- Vicky Jain
- Elvish Yadav
- Nia Sharma
- Kashmera Shah
- Reem Shaikh
After collecting the ingredients, all seven pairs of celebrity cooks started preparing Puttu and Veg Ghassi at their respective cooking stations. After a few minutes, the time limit expired, and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi began judging the dishes prepared by each pair. He then announced the results of Cooking Battle 2.
Winning Pair:
No winner
Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi didn’t like the Veg Ghassi made by any celebrity cook, so there was no winner in Cooking Battle 2.

Just like in the previous episode, Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya still stand at the bottom of the leaderboard with only one star, as they lost all their stars during the Double or Nothing twist in episode 49 of the show.
The pairs of Aly Goni & Reem Shaikh and Elvish Yadav & Karan Kundrra are still leading the leaderboard after this episode, and it is more than likely that the final cooking battle for the trophy of Laughter Chefs Season 2 will happen between these two pairs next week.

In the next episode of Laughter Chefs Season 2, all the famous bahus (“daughters-in-law”) of Indian television, including Divyanka Tripathi, Eisha Singh, Isha Malviya, Shraddha Arya, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee, will arrive as special guests and will be seen cooking alongside the celebrity cooks. Also, Isha Malviya will be seen performing the hook step of her highly popular Shaky song with Abhishek Kumar.
