Storyline
The story revolves around Clarissa Drake, a young struggling actress facing a financial crisis. She attends an audition but suffers a cruel rejection and returns to her grandmother Liliana’s old Victorian house. Many rumors surround the house, including claims that a man was murdered in its basement and that the incident ultimately destroyed Liliana’s career.
Soon Clarissa encounters a masked man who appears to be watching her closely. At first he seems like a threat, but he begins protecting her from a secret group of extremely malicious and powerful people known as the Black Cat Society.
Clarissa discovers that the Hollywood industry has been controlled by this society for decades. They destroy women who try to speak out against them. She also learns that her grandmother and an actor named Leo James once tried to expose the society, but Leo was murdered in the process. Now it is her duty to finish their mission.
Things become even more twisted when Clarissa finds out that people close to her, including her ex-husband Gareth, are connected to the Black Cat Society.
