by In episode 22 of Laughter Chefs Season 3, all seven pairs of celebrity contestants were seen making yummy dishes like Paneer Makhni, Shirvale, and Shikran while competing in two intense cooking battles, judged by the well‑respected chef Harpal Singh Sokhi and moderated by the talented and funny host Bharti Singh.
During this 1 hour and 11 minutes long episode, which was telecast on Colors TV and simultaneously streamed on the JioHotstar app on February 1, 2026, Chef Harpal was seen awarding golden stars to five celebrity pairs, which helped them improve their standings on the leaderboard.
The episode started with Tejasswi Prakash gloating about winning two stars in the previous episode and topping the leaderboard of Laughter Chefs Season 3. She was also seen mocking Elvish Yadav, Jannat Zubair, Karan Kundrra, and Krushna Abhishek, as all of them underestimated her, and then she requested Chef Harpal to announce the next cooking battle as she could not wait to win another golden star.
Cooking Battle 1: Shirvale and Shikran
In the first cooking battle of the evening, the celebrity contestants were tasked with cooking two unique and complex sweet dishes named Shirvale and Shikran.
Criteria for Shirvale:
- 3 pieces of Shirvale
- Diameter: Minimum 3 inches
- Texture: Soft and fluffy
- Well‑defined strands
Criteria for Shikran:
- Perfect sweetness
- Banana and elaichi flavour
After the criteria for Shirvale and Shikran were announced, all seven pairs started preparing both the sweet dishes at their counters, and after the expiry of the allotted time, Harpal Singh Sokhi judged the dishes on each platform and then announced the result.
Winners:
- Tejasswi Prakash and Arjun Bijlani
Chef Harpal loved the soft and fluffy texture of the Shirvale made by Tejasswi and Arjun. He also loved the sweet taste of their Shikran, which was flavoured with elaichi and banana, after which he awarded them another golden star.
Cooking Battle 2: Paneer Makhni
In the second cooking battle of the evening, all the celebrity contestants were tasked with cooking a very popular North Indian delicacy, often served in dhabas and restaurants, named Paneer Makhni.
Criteria for Paneer Makhni:
- Smooth gravy
- Authentic khatta‑meetha taste
Selected participants for the market run
After the criteria announcement, Bharti Singh announced the name of one contestant from each pair who would visit the pantry to collect ingredients for Paneer Makhni, and their names were as follows:
- Sudesh Lehri
- Aly Goni
- Abhishek Kumar
- Krushna Abhishek
- Ankita Lokhande
- Tejasswi Prakash
- Elvish Yadav
Once all the contestants were done with their market run, everyone started cooking Paneer Makhni at their cooking stations, and after the time limit to cook was over, Chef Harpal tasted the Paneer Makhni at each station and then announced the result of cooking battle 2.

- Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande
- Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah
In a very rare, “rarest of the rare” occasion, Chef Harpal announced not one or two, but four pairs as the winners of cooking battle 2, as all these four pairs impressed him a lot with their yummy preparations of Paneer Makhni, and he awarded each of them a golden star.

At the end of episode 22, Arjun and Tejasswi are still leading at the top of the leaderboard with three golden stars, followed by Elvish and Karan in second position with two golden stars. Four celebrity pairs have one star each, while the pair of Sudesh and Nia still have not opened their golden stars account.
