AJ Lee returned and helped Maxxine Dupri become the new Women’s IC Champion on the 17 November 2025 episode of WWE RAW, which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

- John Cena, Rey Mysterio, and Sheamus defeated The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh) via pinfall (Cena pinned Balor).
- Solo Sikoa advanced to the quarterfinals of the Last Time is Now tournament by defeating Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.
- Maxxine Dupri became the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion by defeating Becky Lynch via pinfall.
- Gunther advanced to the quarterfinals of the Last Time is Now tournament by defeating Je’Von Evans via pinfall.

- John Cena kicks off WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden, reflecting on his final appearance there, only to be interrupted by “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. Dominik rants about Cena being handed opportunities and demands an Intercontinental Title rematch at Survivor Series in his hometown of San Diego. Cena accepts but insists on a match tonight as well; when Dominik refuses, he, Finn Bálor, and JD McDonagh attack Cena. Sheamus attempts a save but gets overwhelmed until Rey Mysterio rushes in to even the odds. Cena then turns the chaos into an impromptu six-man tag team match, pitting himself, Sheamus, and Rey against The Judgment Day’s Dominik, Bálor, and McDonagh.
- Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis meets with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to discuss Drew McIntyre when Paul Heyman interrupts. Heyman insists his actions were completely within the rules and regulations. He then warns that if adding Drew McIntyre as his fourth pick for Team Vision has upset them, they haven’t seen anything yet. Heyman hands them a black binder. Pearce opens it, glances at the first page alongside Aldis, and smirks, saying, “This should be fun.”
- Jackie Redmond is in the ring to get a reaction from Stephanie Vaquer following the events of last week’s RAW involving Vaquer and Nikki Bella. A video package airs, recapping Nikki Bella’s shocking heel turn when she attacked Stephanie Vaquer last week. Jackie then formally introduces Stephanie Vaquer, who begins making her entrance. Suddenly, before Vaquer can reach the ring, Nikki Bella ambushes her from behind with a vicious attack.Nikki grabs a microphone and declares that she didn’t return to WWE to sit on the sidelines or play nice as Stephanie Vaquer’s friend. She came back to take over the women’s division. Nikki thanks Vaquer for reminding her exactly who she is—a fearless competitor—and demands that Stephanie put the Women’s World Championship on the line against her. She finishes by telling Vaquer that she will bow down to the true queen of the division.
- Backstage, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria cross paths with The Kabuki Warriors, who are still searching for teammates for WarGames. Asuka tells Bayley she’s willing to bury the hatchet and forgive past betrayals if Bayley joins them. Bayley flatly turns her down. Asuka mutters something sharp in Japanese and storms off. Kairi Sane lingers for a moment, playfully mimicking John Cena’s “You can’t see me” gesture before Asuka calls her away. Lyra instinctively raises her hand for a high-five, only for Bayley to snap, “What are you, five? Let’s go, you idiot!” and drag her off.
- In a very intense segment, Alexa Bliss calls out Charlotte Flair in the ring for ghosting her after losing the women’s tag team titles, stressing that while championships can be regained, trust cannot, and reminding Charlotte of their shared history and loyalty. Before Charlotte can respond, The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend surround and mock the vulnerable Alexa, insisting no one is coming to save her. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY rush in to even the odds, sparking a chaotic brawl in which Alexa gets briefly knocked out—until Charlotte finally arrives wielding a shinai, clears the ring of the heels, helps Alexa to her feet in a moment of reconciliation, while IYO SKY eyes Rhea Ripley intensely.
- During the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match between Becky Lynch and Maxxine Dupri, referee Jessika Carr was momentarily distracted. Seizing the opportunity, Becky attempted to remove the protective cover from a turnbuckle to use it against Maxxine. Suddenly, AJ Lee’s music—“Light It Up”—blared through the arena, marking her shocking return for the first time since WrestlePalooza. The surprise appearance stunned Becky, allowing Maxxine Dupri to capitalize on the distraction, hit her finishing move, and pin the champion to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion!
- Backstage, Jackie Redmond catches up with the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri and the returning AJ Lee. An emotional Maxxine beams that all her hard work has finally paid off, saying she just pinned one of the very best in Becky Lynch and thanks AJ for making it possible. AJ brushes off the gratitude with a smirk, insisting she didn’t do it for Maxxine—she simply couldn’t resist putting a bully like Becky in her place. Moments later, Otis and Akira Tozawa burst in, hoisting Maxxine onto their shoulders and carrying her off to celebrate her historic victory. Left alone with Jackie, AJ explains that she only came back to support CM Punk, but the second she saw Becky Lynch in that ring, something ignited inside her—a fire she didn’t even know she still had. As the interview wraps, Rhea Ripley steps into frame, staring intently at AJ. “You got a second to chat?” Rhea asks. AJ meets her gaze and nods. “Sure.”
- In a chaotic main event segment, Paul Heyman proudly presents his unstoppable team in the ring, led by The Vision and Drew McIntyre, declaring it the greatest he’s ever assembled. The celebration is short-lived as CM Punk storms out, quickly backed by The Usos from the crowd and Cody Rhodes, surrounding the ring and igniting a wild brawl. Punk drops McIntyre, but Brock Lesnar suddenly returns and obliterates Punk with an F-5 and manhandles Cody with German suplexes. Just when order seems lost, Roman Reigns makes a surprise entrance, stares down Lesnar, and the two trade blows until Roman lands a Superman Punch. Chaos escalates further when “Big” Bronson Reed attacks Roman from behind, only to eat another Superman Punch and get Speared through the barricade by Reigns as security and even NYPD officers fail to contain the carnage, sending the show off the air in pandemonium.
