- The show kicked off with a recap of AJ Lee’s legendary return to WWE at SmackDown last week.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were shown entering the arena, and Becky was seen pushing the camera away.
- Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso made their entrance to the ring, emerging from the crowd with “Just Me Uce”—Jey’s theme song—playing in the background. After entering the ring, Jimmy and Jey grabbed the mic and cut a promo addressing their reunion. They then called out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, saying, “The vision is screwed.” Bron and Bronson came out to the entrance ramp, and they had a back-and-forth promo battle with Jimmy and Jey, which ended up setting up a tag team match between all four men at Wrestlepalooza (2025). LA Knight then attacked Bron and Bronson from behind, and Jimmy and Jey joined the brawl. Some miscommunication occurred during the fight, as Jey thought LA Knight intentionally shoved Bronson Reed toward him. The segment ended with LA Knight, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso standing tall in the ring.
- IYO SKY and Nikki Bella were having a conversation backstage when they were interrupted by Asuka. Asuka warned Nikki to stay away from IYO, and Nikki and Asuka had a heated confrontation that led to a match between Asuka and Nikki later that night.
- An amazing video package aired, showcasing the impact AJ Lee made during her first four-year run in WWE.
- Backstage, Penta demanded an Intercontinental title shot from General Manager Adam Pearce. Rusev then confronted Pearce, also asking for an IC title shot. Adam Pearce set up a match between Penta and Rusev for later that night.
- AJ Lee entered the ring wearing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship around her waist. She grabbed the mic and introduced herself to the crowd, saying, “My name is AJ Lee, and I’m your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler.” AJ Lee then told the WWE crowd about her retirement from the wrestling business 10 years ago due to mental health issues, mentioning that she went through therapy and even got the entire arena to cheer for therapy. She explained her reason for coming back, referencing Becky Lynch putting her hands on AJ’s husband, CM Punk. Becky’s music hit, and Becky told AJ Lee she had no business here, bragging that she is the greatest female wrestler in the world (quoting Sports Illustrated). Becky claimed AJ Lee was wearing her Intercontinental title, which belonged to her. AJ Lee joked about the fun she had with Becky’s IC title all weekend, frustrating Becky, who removed the big glasses she was wearing. AJ Lee spotted Becky’s black eye and mocked her, saying, “You’ve got quite a shiner there. Is it because of me and one of my tiny fists? I’m sorry; I get out of control sometimes.” Becky put her glasses back on and started yelling at AJ Lee. AJ Lee challenged Becky to enter the ring and get her title back, but Becky hesitated, prompting the crowd to chant, “Chicken! Chicken!” Becky protested, flapping her arms like chicken wings, which was quite funny. Becky then introduced Seth Rollins, who arrived and was told by Becky to get her title back from AJ Lee. Seth said he would handle it. AJ Lee gave Becky and Seth two options: Option 1—Becky enters the ring to get her title back and risks another black eye; Option 2—a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza between AJ Lee & CM Punk vs. Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins. Seth entered the ring, saying, “You don’t call the shots here—I am the World Heavyweight Champion. This is my show, and these are my people,” which drew boos from the crowd. Seth tried to get the title, but AJ Lee blocked his way. Seth warned her, but CM Punk entered the ring to loud cheers and attempted to hit Seth with a GTS. Seth escaped and agreed to the mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza. AJ Lee kissed the IC title and threw it toward Seth and Becky.
- A heated confrontation occurred backstage between Nikki Bella and Asuka after Asuka defeated Nikki. Rhea Ripley interrupted and had a very heated argument with Asuka over Asuka calling herself the top woman in the division.
- After the main event, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker attacked LA Knight together. Jimmy Uso came to the rescue but was taken out. Jey Uso then came to rescue Jimmy but was also taken out. LA Knight grabbed a chair and took out both Reed and Breakker, but in a shocking turn of events, Jey Uso speared LA Knight as the show went off the air.
