Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Teaser Trailer Watch – Co-Op Game based in Metropolis

Rocksteady Studios has finally dropped the first look teaser trailer of their new single player co-op action game titled Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at DC FanDome 2020 digital event. The game features Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot and Bommerang as the four main playable characters and it will take you on a journey to kill the Justice League members in a single player story based in the Metropolis City which is the hometown of Superman.

Creative director of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League ‘Sefton Hill’ during the DC FanDome 2020 said that this game is a continuation of the Arkham Verse. He further says that DC has a fantastic roster of villains and to play these characters is whats really energizing and exciting.

When asked about why are they making a game with a group of bad guys taking on some of the most beloved superheroes of all time, Hill answered, ‘Well we always wanted to put our characters in interesting, exciting and dynamic situations and it felt like that the Suicide Squad naturally lends itself to that even just starting with their boss ‘Amanda Waller’ you know she is part protagonist but also part antagonist. She has stuck nanobombs in their heads and is forcing them to do this impossible mission, this mission to take on and kill the Justice League and I think thats where you can find the magic when you put characters in these situations that are absolutely impossible and to a certain extent these things kind of write itself because once you have that premise you can live and breathe thinking well how the hell can Suicide Squad kill the Justice League, How can that even happen and really thats the genesys of the game and then its onto us to take the player on that journey and tell the story of how that can even be possible.

Sefton Hill says that each of the four characters has a unique moveset. He says that the thing we are most excited about is bringing Metropolis to life as Metropolis itself is the 5th character in the game and creating this open world is a love letter from us to the DC Fans.

Answering to a fan question from UK, Sefton Hill says that this game is a 1 to 4 player co-op game but you can play single player as well choosing any of the four available characters and rest of the characters will join you as AI on different missions. Suicide Squad: Kill the Juice League is schedule to release in 2022 on XBOX Series X, PS5 and PC.
