Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL 2020 Squad List, Strengths, Weaknesses and Winning Chances

Kolkata Knight Riders will play their first match of IPL 2020 on 23 September against Mumbai Indian. The two time winner of Indian Premier League has been led by Dinesh Karthik this time around. They have made the biggest purchase in the previous IPL auction by making a sky high bid of Rs 15.5 crore for Australian pacer Pat Cummins. All eyes are surely going to be on Pat because of the large sum of money he has bagged but there are other important players in KKR to watch out for.

Biggest Strengths of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020

The Caribbean duo of Sunil Narine and Andre Russell is the biggest strength of Kolkata Knight Riders in my opinion as they both will prove out to be the impact players yet again in the 13th season of IPL for KKR. Both Narine and Russell can win a match single handedly any day for KKR with both bat and ball.

Biggest Weaknesses of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020

There is no experienced international quality opener in the KKR side. Sunil Narine is used to open in many T20 leagues worldwide but he is not rated that much high in that slot. Pressure comes on the shoulders of Shubman Gill and God forbid if Gill fails that its going to be Good Night for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2020.

Winning Chances of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020

In our prediction we are not expecting Kolkata Knight Riders to make it to the top 4 and qualify for the semis. The opening slot is a big concern for them and lack of quality international openers will surely harm them in this league. KKR has a 10% chance of winning IPL 2020.
