Bigg Boss 15 to get extended by 3 to 5 weeks, Why is it happening? – Full Details

Fans of popular Indian reality show Bigg Boss Season 15 were eagerly waiting for its finale which was supposed to take place on 16 January 2022 but now it seems that they need to wait a bit more to see their favourite winning the BB15 trophy as it has recently been reported by various sources that makers of Bigg Boss 15 have decided to extend the season 15 by about 3 to 5 weeks more. Although we cannot fully confirm this news but after seeing the buzz on the net and judging from the live feed this seems to be more then likely.

As per sources contestants inside the house have already been told about this extension and even during the live feed Karan Kundrra was seen talking to other contestants about this extension in the sign language as he has to attend a wedding function of a close relative in the month of February 2022. So it seems that all those ticket to finale tasks and telling public that finalists will be decided through it was just a drama.

Vishal Kotian is also expected to re-enter the house as a wild card in the coming weeks. He got evicted during the live voting task alongside the likes of Jay Bhanushali and Neha Bhasin. Apart from Vishal we can definitely expect more wild cards to enter the house in the next 5 weeks if the show iis actually getting a 5 weeks extension.

Why is Bigg Boss 15 getting a extension?

Now the biggest in everybody’s mind is that why is BB15 getting extended? Well it seems that the recent rise in Covid cases have played a huge role in this sudden call by the makers. We all know that whenever there’s a a surge in Covid cases, lockdowns gets announced by various governments in the country and during that period OTT market rises the most. Now it seems that makers of BB15 are seeing this recent rise in Covid cases in India as an opportunity to make some more income through their OTT platform VOOT and that’s why BB15 has been extended.
